Perspective.

Recently, I've lost a lot of photos off my computer.

At first, I didn't care, I can always take more photos.

Then, after searching for a particular image I'd taken, a long time ago, that is now long gone, I got pretty bummed.

After thinking about it for a while, I've come to realise that just because I lost a photo of you, or of a place I've been, doesn't mean I'll ever lose my memory of you, or of where I've been.

In the end, that's all we've got really, isn't it?

I hope I never get dementia.
